New paper published!
We have published a new article called Quantitative proton density fat-fraction at 9.4 T using fast spin echo and asymmetric multi-echo gradient-echo pulse sequences.
Highlights
•
Introduces a 7-echo fast spin-echo with asymmetric bipolar multi-gradient echo (FSE-AbMGE) sequence for accurate PDFF mapping at 9.4 T
•
Enables flexible echo spacing and robust fat quantification in small animal MR imaging
•
Effectively reduces chemical shift and susceptibility artifacts using high acquisition bandwidth
•
Validated in phantoms with PDFF values from 0 % to 22 %, and in vivo rats, using full fat spectral modeling (12-peak) versus simplified single-peak model
•
Shows potential for future adaptation to lower-field clinical systems for fat quantification
