Simultanous acquisition and quantification of DCE-MRI and DSC-MRI
A combination of DCE- and DSC-MRI may be a way to enhance the diagnostic value of these techniques and capitalize on their pros and cons. We develop new acquisition techniques based on non-Cartesian k-space sampling (radial and rosette) and methods for simultaneous quantification of the DCE and DSC data. Use of the gradient-correction-model to link the DCE and DSC curves provides additional new perfusion parameters, related to r2*, reflecting the microvascular structure [1, 2].
